The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized English language proficiency test administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to assess the English proficiency of non-English-speaking candidates. The TOEFL test is widely accepted by universities and colleges in the United States and around the world as proof of language proficiency for admission.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an international English language proficiency test co-sponsored by Cambridge University Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Group. The IELTS test is mainly used to assess candidates' English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and is widely used in the fields of study abroad, immigration and vocational certification.

AP courses are Advanced Placement courses in the United States, with a total of 38 courses in 7 major disciplines.
